The International Chess Institute (ICI) is the first and only chess coaching company with a fully certified staff. According to the North American Education Review (NAER) their studies indicated: "92.5% of chess coaching companies staff is primarily staffed with uncertified instructors, volunteers, and non-professional chess coaches. NAER Volume 22, June 2010".

Our program's success is derived from the most qualified chess teachers in America. ICI instructors are not only great chess players, but more importantly passionate teachers. Additionaly, every candidate for an ICI chess teaching position must complete our comprehensive 3-month training program, which entails 32 training modules. The ICI training program received its accolades, when the American Chess Review stated, "the International Chess Institute is the most comprehensive chess training program in the World".
Beyond completion of the ICI training program candidates must receive a score of 90% or higher on all training examinations, homework, and training modules.
