Welcome to the International Chess Institute, a world-renown chess coaching company. The Institute, founded in 1999, promotes structured chess classes in curricular and after-school programs in elementary, middle, and high schools in public and private sectors.
The International Chess Institute has been ranked the top chess institute in the United States for over a decade. ICI has coached the most state and national chess champions of any chess institute in the United States.
In April of 2010, the ICI became a premiere chess venue sponsoring and hosting a myriad of chess events. The ICI has a tradition of excellence, a distinguished faculty, and a long history of utilizing chess as an educational tool.
In an effort to promote chess, the ICI started to sponsor and host premiere chess events in April of 2010.
Our goal is to utilize the proven educational benefits of chess in an effort to improve the quality of life for our students. In chess, every move matters, like every decision we make in life effects the future.
